| Winter Update-2012 Twenty-eight club members traveled to Rod’s Steakhouse and Grill in Madison, NJ on January 22, 2012 for our annual Holiday Season Party. Once again we gathered in the Red Dog Café for good food, good laughs, a short meeting, and our famous Chinese Auction. There were several popular items in exchange, but the walking stick and the handmade dog food stand (thanks to Bill Garneau) were possessed by several people for a short time. Linda Promaulayko’s paintings were hidden under a table so that no one would take them in trade. We had a short business meeting to hear a treasurer’s report and to install the new officers for 2012. Our thanks to Dave Margolin who took photos of our brunch. The Board and officers will meet in March to set the calendar for the year. So far there will be hunt tests on April 14-15th at Assunpink Wildlife Management area in Clarksburg, NJ. Co-chairs will be Heidi Scripture and Gary Miller and the secretary will be Florence Duggan. Once again the Arnone’s have offered their grounds for our field training day. No date has been set yet, but it will probably be in May. Trophy donations are still be accepted for the Taconic Specialty and the supported entry in June. |
